It is a small town of approximately 6000 inhabitants. This old attractive town has an historic centre where you can shop or just sit in a bar and soak up the real atmosphere of Spain.
Conil: Midweek you stay for three nights in Zahara de los Atunes at the Hotel Pozo del Duque in. It has all the facilities you could wish for, including showers and TV in every room, and its own swimming pool. The rooms are bright and welcoming after a long day in the saddle. The first two nights you will eat at a local restaurant and the last night will be in the hotel restaurant, or terrace, dependant on the weather. Both places cook traditional Spanish food and both have the all-important well-stocked bar for your end-of-day nightcap.
